Tiny Techno Dance Jam is a high-energy, genre-blurring event where live electronic beats meet raw human expression. Featuring pulsing techno crafted in real time with synths and drum machines, the jam invites spontaneous collaboration with live acoustic drums, vocals, and other instruments. Fueled by movement and collaboration, the jam invites dancers and musicians alike into an electrified feedback loop of rhythm, sound, and embodied performance. It’s part dance party, part sonic experiment, all techno.
A playful, welcoming, shoes-off dance party where you can join in the rhythm with percussion instruments (provided - or bring your own), or step up to the mic and improvise your own tiny techno vocals. For two hours, immerse yourself in infectious beats created live by Bearded Twin on analog synthesizers, drum machines, and both sampled and live vocals, set in an intimate, cozy space with club-quality sound. Come dance off your week, connect, let go, wander through surreal art displays, mingle at the bar, explore the tiny shop for creative finds, or unwind in the chill audiovisual installation Vibe Check.
Tiny Techno happens every fourth Friday of the month at Delight Factory in Ocean Hill, Brooklyn.

About Tiny Techno
Tiny Techno is an audiovisual art project and collective created by Bearded Twin (aka Jason Nunes) and vocalized by Carley Moore to help you laugh, dance, and consider your own role in outer space. Are you an astronaut, an alien, a black hole, a spaceship, an angel, or a being unknown to earthlings?
The visual expression of Tiny Techno began with Jason’s childhood drawings of aliens and spaceships, sparking a sense of excitement and escapism. Over time, this creative energy expanded into music, art, and writing, though without a clear direction.
A turning point came with a voice text from Carley, which seamlessly fit into the music already in progress. Her words carried a playful, musical quality that came to life when combined with sound.
To create the imagery, Nunes collaborated with AI, which he recognizes presents ethical concerns, and it also enables the creation of images that complement the music, allowing for a cohesive artistic vision as a solo endeavor, with Carley as the vocalist.
